How to Port Forward a Draytek Router


Step 1: Login to the Draytek router via the default gateway address.

Step 2: Click on “NAT” and then “Port Redirection.”

Step 3: Click on “1.”

Step 4: Click “Enable.” Set the Mode to “Single.” Enter a Service Name, Public Port, Private Port and Private IP. Set the Protocol to “TCP” and WAN Interface to “All.”  Click “Ok.”

Step 5: Click on “2.” Fill in the boxes with the same information given in step 4. Set the Protocol to “UDP.” Click “Ok.”

You should now be able to connect to your device via a web browser. Simply enter your hostname followed by the port number into the address bar. For example http://hostname.ddns.net:8000

Please Note: If you are using a mobile application, you will simply need to use your hostname to connect. The application should already specify the port when attempting to make the connection.
