No-IP Company Event

The entire No-IP team participated in a team-building exercise. The event was hosted by Full Access Tahoe. We participated in an Amazing Race style event that consisted of different challenges performed by teams on UTV (Utility Task Vehicle), kayaks and on land. We broke into 12 teams to compete in the different tasks. At the end, scores were tallied and a winning team was announced. All in all, the day was an awesome way to get everyone working together in a fun way.

At No-IP, we believe that giving the team the opportunity to get outside of the office (and our comfort zone), helps us build a stronger relationship.

help-support

At No-IP, we strive to be one of the best in our industry at providing the best support we can to all of our customers. Please follow these No-IP support tips when you have any issues or concerns with our service. Also, have you seen our Guides and FAQs? They’re really cool, honest! A lot of common issues and questions can be answered from these guides.

Contact
The phone lines may be busy at times, so please leave us a voice message and the next available member of our Customer Success Team will call you back as soon as possible. I cannot stress enough that our paid users SHOULD ALWAYS CALL technical support when possible, believe me when I say that your issue is important to us and we can respond the quickest when we’re speaking with you directly.

But What If…
You don’t have a phone, or you hate talking to people on the phone? In this case, please submit a Support Ticket, it WILL take longer for us to respond to a ticket, but we will get an answer to you as quickly as we can. Tickets are responded to in the order in which they were received.

Please remember to include the following when submitting Support Tickets:

  • Subject Line: Provide either your email address or domain/hostname.
  • Body: Be as descriptive as possible about the issue, what’s occurring, etc. Explain what you have already tried. (Because let’s face it, I know there’s nothing more annoying than someone telling you to try what you have already done.) Also, please include what software is being used in conjunction with your domain/hostname, if any.

What About Email?
Please do not submit support questions via email unless you have one of our Support Technicians direct email addresses. Any messages sent to other addresses will most likely be lost, forever.

We Want to Hear From You!

Reno Tech Company, No-IP, Makes Inc 5000 List 4th Year In a Row

inc5000-2017-reno-nevada

For the 4th year in a row, No-IP, a local Reno tech company, has been awarded a spot on the Inc. 5000 – List of Fastest Growing Private Companies.

At No-IP, we understand it is our customers who help us achieve honors like this. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be here today. We want to thank you for helping our business grow into what it is today.

We rank 20th among companies based in Nevada and 3rd among Reno based companies.

“Ranking on the Inc 5000 for the 4th consecutive year is a true honor and is proof to the growth we have maintained since starting this company in 1999,” said No-IP CEO, Dan Durrer. “I couldn’t be more proud of the team behind the scenes of No-IP.  Everyone on the team is deeply inspired to do work that delivers results and it shows,” he added.

The No-IP team works extremely hard to continue providing the best Dynamic DNS in the world and making the Inc 5000 confirms we are doing our jobs.

Over the past 4 years, No-IP has seen an 85% increase in revenue and has grown the team to 26 members.

We’d also like to give a shoutout to the other Reno companies that made the list: The Abbi Agency, The Spa & Sauna Co.,  Noble Studios, and Sala Family Dentistry. Congratulations!

No-IP Hosts First Hackathon – Snotty Ron’s Bakeoff

After months of planning, we hosted our first ever company-wide Hackathon. The Hackathon named, Snotty Ron’s Bakeoff, was a way for everyone on the No-IP team to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities and get creative. Everyone across the company was encouraged to come up with ideas for a project they would like to work on. Teams were then formed and ideas were brought to life. At the beginning of the month, we kicked off Snotty Ron’s Bakeoff and teams frantically went to work.

Projects ranged from super technical, dev heavy projects, to remodeling a breakout office into a themed office to help cater to how different people work.

For 3 days straight, the teams worked together to turn their ideas into a demo-able product. The teams consisted of people from many different roles across the company; from product managers to analysts to creatives and devs, all of the teams worked together to create a cool project.

On the last day, we held the Snotty Ron’s Bakeoff Award Ceremony. Winners of the first Annual Quarterly Hackathon were awarded a coveted Snotty Ron bobble head.

This event was a huge success and we can’t wait to do it again next quarter. Not sure who Snotty Ron is? Take a moment to meet him.
