Anti-Spam ECR Discontinuation

At the end of the month, No-IP.com will be transitioning our managed mail services, POP3/IMAP and Mail Forwarding, to our new email infrastructure provider.  After the transition, No-IP Anti-Spam ECR will no longer be offered as an email feature.

Although Anti-Spam ECR will be no longer available, we are confident that our new email provider’s stringent spam rules will cut down on unwanted email. Our engineers will migrate your ECR black and white lists automatically in order to save you time and hassle.

We will be issuing a prorated service credit to your account for any remaining time you have left on your ECR service.

If you are an administrator for this domain and have other clients who are currently using ECR, please take this time to notify your users.

If you need any guidance or have any questions, feel free to contact us here or 775-853-1883. As always, thank you for being a valued No-IP customer. We appreciate your business.

    Guys,

The Anti-Spam service is what I need. If you are just offering email then I can do that myself. I will be forced to move my email accounts from you.

    Please look for another option.

    Regards

  2. Since you’ve migrated my email to another service I have been swamped with spam. The new provider obviously is not capable of filtering spam properly. This was one of the main reasons I signed up for your services. I have been a happy customer of yours for many years but if I have to see 20+ spam messages in my email each day then I will be forced to discontinue. Please find an alternative or tell the new provider to implement same solution as you all had until recently. Thanks.

  3. Thanks for your comment… I forwarded it on to our email engineer. He will take a look into it the situation for you. I can email you at the above address when he let’s me know what is going on with the spam filter… Thanks for being a longterm customer of No-IP. We appreciate your business.

  4. The individual POP3 email account Spam settings which I can get to as an administrator….are these part of the ECR Anti-Spam service which is being discontinued or is the ECR stuff being disable just what is shown in the ECR tab for the individual webmail logins?

  5. Thank you for your comment. The ECR items that are being discontinued are what is shown in the ECR tab.
