IMAP is recommended if you want to access your email mailbox from your tablet, your laptop, your phone, etc.

POP is recommended if you have only one device you will always read your email on. You will only be able to read the emails wherever they were initially downloaded.

If you read your emails on multiple devices, we recommend using IMAP as your emails will be accessible anywhere.

Step 4: In the Account Settings page, enter the server information to get connected.

Settings:

  • POP Server: mail.noip.com, port 110 or 995 with SSL enabled.
  • IMAP Server: mail.noip.com, port 143 or 993 with SSL enabled.
  • Outgoing Mail: mail.noip.com, port 587 or 465 with SSL enabled (requires authentication).

For IMAP:

For POP:

If you are using Encryption (recommended), make sure you select SSL/TLS as the Encryption Method.

Step 6: Click Connect. If everything is correct, you should be greeted with your Mailbox!

You can always access your email on the go by using our webmail client at mail.noip.com!

Tip: If you ever forget your email address password, you can always change it on your No-IP account dashboard under My Services > Email > Configure > Modify > New Password.
