Generating a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) using iPlanet 4.1 Web Servers

Please note, as of January 2011, all CSR’s must be generated with a key length of 2048 and using the SHA256 hash algorithm
Creating a CSR:
  1. Step 1

    Sign onto the Web server and select the server to manage.

  2. Step 2

    Select the “Security” tab and then “Request a Certificate”.

  3. Step 3

    Complete the required boxes and click “OK”.

  4. Step 4

    An email is then sent to the email address specified containing your CSR.

  5. Step 5

    The CSR will be required when ordering your certificate.
